ULTRAGUARD™ in Switzerland

🔥 The Jonction Autoroutière du Grand-Saconnex, JAG, project in Geneva 🇨🇭, started in 2017. It is the largest construction site in Switzerland at the moment. It is a crucial node in the Geneva Road Network, at the centre of exchanges between the city, the international airport, the UN, the Lake Geneva region and the cross-border regions of neighbouring France.

️ The JAG project in figures: 240 MCHF invested in studies and works (including 16 engineering structures), 5 years of works, 180 million vehicles in transit 3 new bridges including the first cable-stayed bridge in Geneva.

The COLAS SUISSE group is in charge of traffic management on the JAG and CITEC company is in charge of site supervision and local management of the works. 🚧

It is on this OFROU/ASTRA (Swiss Federal Roads Office) network 🇨🇭 that SOLOSAR was entrusted by the COLAS Group with the installation of its innovative safety solution: ULTRAGUARD™. 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟒𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐀𝐑𝐃™ 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐑𝐁𝟖𝟎𝐒 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐑𝐄𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐂.

ULTRAGUARD™ actively guides the driver through changes in direction or curves without electrical power, in all weather conditions and especially at night, as it allows for better driver anticipation and reaction thanks to a full view of the road geometry. 🚗
