SOLOPROTECT® from SOLOSAR is a physical protection solution designed to protect people, machines and goods inside and outside industrial and commercial buildings. It helps prevent accidents by demarcating traffic zones and protecting sensitive infrastructure such as charging stations, shelving, fire doors, loading bays and car parks.

Statistics on accidents involving forklift trucks vary from country to country, but illustrate a common safety issue. In France, every year there are around 8,000 accidents resulting in time off work, of which 10 to 20 are fatal, and between 500 and 800 cause permanent disability. In Germany, the figures are similar, reflecting a comparable trend. In the UK, around 1,300 employees are hospitalised each year for serious injuries related to forklift truck accidents. In the United States, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) reports that around 85 deaths and 34,900 serious injuries occur each year as a result of accidents involving forklift trucks. |
