Tarnos: a secured bicycle path !

The town of Tarnos, in France, is located on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is a very popular town with a lot of summer visitors.

The municipality has 21.8 km of bicycle paths today and will soon have 39.3 km with the bicycle project, i.e. almost double!

Also, the municipality had to separate road and bicycle traffic to protect all road users by combining a linear of our timber clad crash barrier S4.4 (4 m post spacing) and S.4.2 (2 m post spacing).

These two guardrails are part of our SOLOWOOD range and were chosen by our customer for their ease and efficiency installation.

They are perfectly adapted to all configurations: securing bicycle paths with handrails or installation in curves.
