SOLOSAR presents SoloTag, an innovative identification solution based on NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

This intelligent tag is equipped with a passive chip encapsulated in a high-quality nylon thermoplastic, offering exceptional durability:

  • Resistant to extreme temperatures: from -40°C to +90°C, suitable for all climates, even the harshest.
  • Perfectly waterproof: IP69K standard, for optimum protection against water and dust.
  • Increased robustness: resists shocks, wear and tear and aggressive environments (chemicals, UV, etc.).
  • Installation designed for practicality: discreetly installed on retaining devices, SoloTag from SOLOSAR is easily accessible, even on structures in operation.
  • Easy to read: a smartphone equipped with NFC technology is all you need to obtain essential information without a dedicated application.

As soon as a device is brought close to the tag, an automatic pop-up displays :

  1. The name of the manufacturer
  2. The model of the restraint system
  3. Year of installation
  4. Case number
  5. The name of the worksite
  6. A link to the web page dedicated to the product

The information to be entered is not predefined, as it is free-text input limited to a size of 312 bytes.

The related smartphone application is TagWriter.

Since the Solo Tag is a passive element based on NFC technology, it is activated by the wave emitted by the phone during reading. Therefore, it does not have autonomy in the strict sense. Its expected lifespan is virtually infinite.

The Solo Tag also features an insulator for metallic surfaces to ensure proper functionality.

Finally, it is possible to permanently lock the tag after installation and data entry, preventing any external person from modifying it. However, this action is irreversible.
