For more than 44 years, SOLOSAR has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing innovative solutions dedicated to road safety and urban development.

Founded in 1978 by the international group HEINTZMANN, SOLOSAR initially specialized in road safety equipment for the French national network. Today, the company is recognized as a key player in the sector, combining technical expertise with a sustainable vision.

Based in France in the city of Sarreguemines near Germany, our company covers more than 16,000 m² and is built on unique know-how centered around two key raw materials: hot-dip galvanized steel and autoclaved solid wood. Our product range, known for its quality and reliability, meets the highest market standards.

Nearly 20 years ago, SOLOSAR developed a production unit dedicated to mixed wood-metal safety barriers and an activity in urban furniture made from autoclaved wood. By diversifying our activities while maintaining full control over the manufacturing and assembly processes, we can support our clients, whether they are highway companies, public works firms, or departments of the DIR and departmental councils.

As a member of the CNDRR (National Commission for Road Restraint Systems), we actively participate in the work of European groups (WG1 and TG2 of TC 226) on the EN 1317 standard.
As a member of PIARC (World Road Association), the Association with 128 member governments and consultative status with the UN Economic and Social Council encourages and facilitates global discussions and shares knowledge about roads and road transport.

As a member of SER (French Road Equipment association), we work closely with road safety stakeholders to ensure equipment meets the most stringent standards.
