𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗚𝗨𝗔𝗥𝗗™: SOLOSAR trains the teams of GREUTER AG in the German-speaking region of Switzerland

SOLOSAR and GREUTER AG: A Partnership for Road Safety in German-speaking Switzerland

As part of its mission to promote innovative and effective solutions for road safety, SOLOSAR recently trained its Swiss partner, GREUTER AG, on the application of the ULTRAGUARD™ system. This strategic partnership aims to enhance the safety of road infrastructures in German-speaking Switzerland, especially on high-traffic networks.

Greuter AG is a leader in Switzerland in the fields of specialized civil engineering and road equipment, with over 120 employees and more than 50 years of experience. The company delivers turnkey projects establishing itself as a key player in the industry.

Phase 1: High-Level Technical Training

The first phase of this training focused on technical aspects. SOLOSAR’s experts detailed the components and operational procedures of the ULTRAGUARD™ system. This highly retroreflective coating, applied to all types of vehicle restraint systems, is designed to optimize visibility and vehicle safety. SOLOSAR provided GREUTER AG with user-friendly application equipment, ensuring a quick and efficient installation. The selected FULL OPTION kit includes a 10 KW generator with an AVR card, an airless pump, an 11-bar compressor, a pressurized bead tank, and an application cart equipped with paint guns and bead dispensers.

During this phase, the teams also pre-assembled the ULTRAGUARD™ kit in GREUTER AG’s intervention vehicle, showcasing the system's flexibility and adaptability. The theoretical explanations were followed by practical demonstrations, allowing GREUTER's team to quickly familiarize themselves with the tools and application techniques.

Phase 2: Application on a Closed Highway Worksite

After the theory, it was time for field practice. SOLOSAR organized an application session on a closed highway site in the Bülach region of Switzerland. This step was crucial for testing the ULTRAGUARD™ system under real conditions. The GREUTER AG team, supervised by SOLOSAR, applied the coating to several modular lane separators. The combined expertise of both teams ensured precise and fast application, guaranteeing maximum efficiency on the affected infrastructures.

Phase 3: Securing Steel barriers with Motorcycle protection

The training continued on metal structures equipped with motorcycle protection device in the municipality of Zweidlen. ULTRAGUARD™ was applied to existing double-wave guardrails, further enhancing the safety of these infrastructures, which are often exposed to high risks. This stage of the intervention demonstrated the product's versatility, capable of being used on various types of structures while providing optimal retroreflection for improved nighttime visibility.

Phase 4: Various Applications on Loading Docks and box beams

SOLOSAR and GREUTER AG also collaborated on the application of ULTRAGUARD™ to various metal structures, including loading docks and box beams L511. The coating demonstrated remarkable adaptability, proving its usability across a wide range of road and industrial configurations.

A Strategically Beneficial Partnership

This partnership between SOLOSAR and GREUTER AG marks a significant step forward for road safety in Switzerland. Thanks to this collaboration, GREUTER AG now benefits from advanced technical expertise, allowing it to effectively meet the security needs of Swiss infrastructures. SOLOSAR, in turn, strengthens its position as a key player in road protection, once again highlighting the efficiency and innovation of its ULTRAGUARD™ product range.

This training project and partnership directly contribute to road safety on Swiss highways and infrastructures. With the application of ULTRAGUARD™, Swiss roads are becoming safer, particularly in low-visibility conditions, while ensuring maximum protection for road users.
